Flickr

I'm really glad I learned about the Flickr site. I have been looking for away to store all of the family photos that I have been scanning. This way I can let my relative know where they are at and they download the pictures that they want. This also a good thing in case of the dreaded computer crash.

Trading Card

This is a quilt that I made for a former colleague. It’s small about 15” X 25”. I amazed even myself; I managed to make this in little over a week. I’m not the fastest quilter on the block.

Great-Great Grandpa Groff

Joseph Bernard Groff (10/31/1838-9/23/1912)is my gg-grandfather on my father's side. He was born in Muskingum county Ohio and died in Somerset, Perry county Ohio. He served in the Civil War in the 1st Battalion Company A of the 12th infantry regiment of the U. S. Army. After the war he became and shoemaker and married Sarah Jane Krumlauff and had a family. This picture was taken 2 year before his death.
This is my attempt to use flickr and images, plus a little family history on the side.

Lifelong Learning

The hardest step for me in the pursuit of Lifelong Learning is finding the time to do all the things that I want to do both at home and at work. I sometimes think that there needs to be more hours in a day just to get 1/4 of what I want or need to accomplish. The easiest step is the actual planning of a goal. With so many interest there is always sometime new to learn. It's just deciding which new thing to start first.
